SUMMARY:Hudsonville Holiday Parade & Tree Lighting 2026
DESCRIPTION:Thank you for your interest in participating in this year's holiday parade. Parade registration will open on October 1\, 2026. Please read the information below before registering.\n\n\n\nCandy or other handouts must not be distributed by participants walking with moving vehicles. This rule is essential to ensure the safety of both participants and spectators\, especially given the narrow and dark parade route.\n\n\n\nHowever\, there will still be candy at the parade! The "Candy Crew\," a group of walkers near the end of the parade\, has permission to safely distribute candy away from moving vehicles. Businesses with a float/vehicle in the parade can have people walk separately in the Candy Crew under the same registration. We encourage walkers to dress up\, wear lights\, and bring decorated wagons to hold your candy. Please make sure to bring your own candy to pass out.\n\n\n\nTo further enhance the safety of the event\, a representative from each business or applicant is required to attend a mandatory safety meeting on Tuesday\, November 10\, at 4:00 PM at Terra Square (3380 Chicago Dr\, Hudsonville). The meeting will cover important details such as arrival times\, staging locations\, and parade safety. Failure to attend may result in your application being revoked.\n\n \n\nRules\nThe planning team reserves the right to decide if your entry is acceptable when reviewing applications. If these rules are broken\, the committee reserves the right to disallow future participation.\n\n\n	One representative from each business/applicant is required to attend the safety meeting on Tuesday\, November 10 at 4:00pm at Terra Square (3380 Chicago Dr\, Hudsonville).
